Relax amongst the 2 acres of artist-designed garden that weaves around 100-year-old elm trees, a pinot noir vineyard and an orchard of walnuts, cherries, peaches, plums, apples, apricots and more.

Take in the views of Table Cape, Bass Strait, Rocky Cape and even the mountainous Cradle Mountain country that is commanded from this exceptional location at the top of beautiful Boat Harbour beach.

And unwind in your spacious 2-bedroom accommodation with gourmet kitchen, cosy wood fire, Wi-Fi and spa bath – your perfect base for exploring Tasmania’s North West Coast or simply enjoying Boat Harbour beach in stunning, secluded surrounds.

Sit back on the verandah of this spacious 2 bedroom home and take in the magnificent views of Table Cape and Bass Strait, surrounded by amazing private gardens.

Enjoy fresh farm eggs and house-made granola for breakfast. The gourmet kitchen features a 900mm duel-fuel oven and Bosch dishwasher.

Settle in by the cosy wood fire or relax in the spa bath. Take a picnic in the gardens or down at the beach – or maybe enjoy game of croquet or cricket on your front lawn. (equipment supplied). The cows graze contentedly nearby and there is a private rainforest on our property too.

Upon request, we will consider pets.

The grounds are also available for weddings.

Garden weddings

Whether it’s beneath the avenue of 100-year-old elm trees, in front of the pinot noir vineyard that looks out over Table Cape, or amongst the stunning artist-designed gardens, there are so many beautiful options at Mallavale Farm for your wedding ceremony. We supply 50 white Alloyfold “Bella” slatted folding lawn chairs for your guests, and a red carpet for the aisle.


There is a flat, grassed marquee site in front of the accommodation. Your guests can enjoy the magnificent views and garden surrounds, and caterers can take advantage of the large, new kitchen. There are two toilets inside. There is ample parking at Mallavale Farm for guests in a level fenced paddock that is accessed off Sisters Beach Rd.


The newly-renovated cottage comfortably accommodates 5 people. It is fully self-contained and amenities include new 900mm duel-fuel Euromaid oven, Bosch dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, Weber bbq, spa bath, cosy wood pellet heater, verandah, deck and private entrance. Croquet and cricket sets are supplied. There is plenty of room for families, parking for large caravans and pets will be considered.


Mallavale Farm offers so many beautiful options for wedding and recreational photography –amazing gardens, abundant birdlife, native wildlife (we have a resident bandicoot!), grand old trees, stunning coastal views, quaint, rustic farm sheds and even our own private rainforest. You are only 2km minutes from Boat Harbour beach for stunning shots on the pristine white sand, and 7km from gorgeous Sisters Beach and the Rocky Cape National Park.


Mallavale Farm is a 30 acre working cattle farm bursting with fresh flowers and produce – from fresh herbs and vegetables to summer berries, stone fruits and pomes. Help yourself to fruit from the orchard and enjoy fresh farm eggs, as the season permits.


Mallavale Farm is located just 2km from Boat Harbour Beach, and 7km from Sisters Beach. It is a 10 minute drive to Wynyard, which has airport links to Melbourne, supermarkets, doctors, pharmacies, pubs, cafes and plenty of recreational activities. Boat Harbour Beach has a great café/restaurant and the fabulous Thistle Hut Café and Illume Restaurants are within 4km of your accommodation. This is the perfect base from which to explore the many treasures of the North West Coast – from Cradle Mountain to the Nut at Stanley, the Tarkine Wilderness and West Coast, not to mention the iconic Table Cape tulip farm just down the road.
